Enrolling at Challenger TAFE

Thank you for selecting Challenger TAFE as your training provider. The team at Challenger TAFE is excited to welcome you to our award winning institution.

Challenger TAFE offers a range of courses to local and international students. For more information go to the Courses page. Or you can go straight to the Course Catalogue.

For local students (Australian citizens or permanent residents)

The following study options are available for local students:

Application forms for full-time TAFE Admissions award courses can be completed on-line, or a PDF version of the application form can be downloaded and sent direct to TAFE Admissions or lodged at any TAFE campus. If either of these options are not available to you please contact our course information centre on (08) 9239 8189 or email us at: info@challengertafe.wa.edu.au. Follow this link to go directly to an online application form.

Note: TAFE Admissions will no longer supply printed hard copy versions of the application form.

Application for Semester 1, 2010 full-time study - key dates

Friday 4 Sept 2009  Applications open 
Friday, 16 Oct 2009  Closing date for TAFEWA applications for courses requiring submission of a folio  
Fri, 13 Nov 2009  Closing date for all other TAFEWA applications
Wed 9 Dec 2009  Closing date for late applications 
Note: A $75 non-refundable application fee is payable after the 13 November 2009.
Wed 20 January 2010  First round TAFE offers mailed via Australia Post.
These offers are also posted on www.tafe.wa.edu.au  
Thur 28 Jan 2010  Final date for acceptance or rejection of first round TAFE offers 
Mon 1 Feb 2010  Second round TAFE offers mailed via Australia Post.
There offers are also posted on www.tafe.wa.edu.au  
Wed 3 Feb 2010  Final date for acceptance or rejection of second round TAFE offers 












 

 
Safety net applications

If you miss the deadline in submitting an application for study to a popular course, a safety net application will be considered if there are places left in the course you selected after the official enrolment period. The next peak enrolment period is the end of January 2010. Click here to download the safety net application form.

Continuous enrolments

There are over 140 careers to choose from at Challenger TAFE. Some of these courses are delivered through flexible delivery, hence continuous enrolments are available throughout the year for these selected courses.

An enrolment timeline can be found under Calendar & Important dates. If you are interested in finding out about exemptions or skills recognition, please click on this link to be forwarded to Recognition of Prior Learning (or Exemptions).

Once enrolled, you are required to be familiar with the student code of conduct while studying at Challenger TAFE.
