Within the Children’s Services area we offer both part-time (flexible delivery for industry employed personnel) and full-time study options for Certificate III, IV and Diploma levels.
To enhance our college-based delivery we have compiled an expensive range of resources that support teaching and learning across all aspects of child care. For the care of 0 to 2 year old children, we have established a ‘virtual’ nursery on campus where students can engage in simulated experiences utilising not only a replicated physical environment but also interact with ‘virtual babies’.
Flexible delivery is available one evening per week for those already employed in the child care industry.
If you have a Diploma of Children’s Services, you are eligible for entry with advanced standing into various university courses such as Bachelor of Education and Early Childhood degrees. With industry experience, you are also eligible to enter our Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma courses in Community Services Management.
