Teacher Assistant training is currently under heavy demand and has recently been re-classified in Western Australia as a skills shortage area. The Certificate III is widely accepted as the minimum requirement for employment, and the Certificate IV offers a more competitive skill level. The Certificate IV is also used as a stepping-stone to university entrance (Teacher qualification) by some students.
If you have your Certificate III and are currently employed, we offer a part time evening class to enable you to gain your Certificate IV. This course is offered over four terms, and can be started in any term.
