Local Jobs for Local People

Are you an employer in need of skilled workers in order to take full advantage of the economic boom in the region?

In order to meet the specific workforce requirements of the Peel and South West regions, Challenger TAFE's Peel Campus has partnered with industry bodies, community groups, and the Peel Development Commission to develop a range of strategies to recruit and retain staff.

These include:

  • Training innovations, such as work release for training in bricklaying, plastering, carpentry and wall and ceiling fixing.
  • Training delivery in Peel communities, including Boddington, Mundijong, Pinjarra and Waroona.
  • Support for small to medium sized businesses.
  • Flexible delivery meets industry demand and allows employees to study at their own pace and place.
  • Networking with employment agencies to fill your vacancies.
  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for existing staff, with on-site assessments, to formally recognise valuable skills and experience and identify further training needs.
