RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING (RPL)

RPL assessments are designed mainly for people working in industry who have on-the-job skills and want to obtain a formal qualification. Qualifications are available up to Certificate III for Commercial Cookery, and up to Diploma for Hospitality and Tourism, and are especially useful for people wanting to sell their services, gain job portability or a promotion. Some people use the RPL assessment process as a means of identifying the shortfalls and standards of their existing skills.

RPL assessments can be made face-to-face, through specified projects, and/or via challenge tests, employer and client testimonials. On-line learning is self-paced and enables people to receive training and assignments in their own homes or workplaces.
