Horticulture

The Centre delivers horticulture training in the following areas:

Production Horticulture

  • Turf Production (public works projects, sports and industrial applications, and domestic consumers).

Amenity Horticulture

  • Nursery (meets the needs of the Nursery Industry Accreditation Scheme.)
  • Parks and Gardening (maintenance and construction of parks, playgrounds and gardens).
  • Arboriculture - (tree surgery, transplanting, felling and chainsaw handling).
  • Landscaping - (landscape design and construction in domestic, public and commercial domains).
  • Turf Management - (encompasses all sports and recreational facilities).
  • Irrigation.
