The WA Maritime Training Centre - Fremantle has been conducting aquaculture training since 1989.
We work closely with local, national and international industry groups to ensure our training is industry-relevant and high quality. We also cater for the diversity of the aquaculture industry by developing skills in hatchery and on-growing operations, as well as marketing and support services.
Our courses provide graduates with qualifications as Aquaculture Farmhands, Technical Assistants, Aquaculture Technicians and in hatchery management.
The Diploma of Aquaculture is also recognised as an entry pathway into many university aquaculture degrees. The Centre also offers a Graduate Diploma of Marine Finfish Hatchery Management.
