As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), Challenger TAFE has met the national registration standards required by the Training Accreditation Council, the recognition authority for VET in Western Australia.

Since 1998, Challenger TAFE has worked with more than 40 schools to provide compliance with national registration requirements and recognition of training to AQTF standards.
Challenger TAFE's partnerships include:
- Certificate II in Leadership through school-based cadet programs, with community projects used for assessments.
- School-based traineeships.
- Compacts between schools which maximise opportunities for students to gain nationally recognised qualifications and utilise specialist resources more effectively.
- Combinations of school-based and Challenger TAFE delivery with validation of qualifications.
- Challenger TAFE also has a strong commitment to working in partnership with schools and the university sector to develop smooth pathways to education, training and employment.
